Shadowhunters Cast Watch List (November)

It’s time for our November Watch List! Each month we recount the latest happenings and updates with the Shadowhunters cast. Don’t see your fave featured here? They may have had a quiet month, and we try not to repeat updates. Check out our October edition for more stuff.

This month has seen the Shadowhunters cast busy making music, gracing the red carpet with style, and acting up a storm on our television screens. Meanwhile, Shadowhunters won a People’s Choice Award and we were blessed with a new behind the scenes photo of Malec.

Kat McNamara

24-Hour Plays

Kat participated in an event where six plays were written, rehearsed, and performed within 24 hours. All proceeds from the plays benefited the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN). Kat tweeted about it here and you can read more about it on the website for The 24 Hour Plays Broadway Gala.

Arrow

Kat continued her role as Mia as Arrow wrapped filming its eight-season run. Arrow will return with new episodes on Tuesday, December 3rd on the CW at 9/8c.

Alberto Rosende

Chicago Fire

Alberto has a recurring role as Blake Gallo, Firehouse 51’s newest recruit with a heartbreaking backstory. Chicago Fire airs on Wednesdays on NBC at 8/9c, but is currently on a hiatus. You can catch up with all of the episodes on Hulu or on NBC.

Rosende Reads

The final live chat about The Testaments is scheduled for December 1, 2019, and the final Rosende Reads book of 2019 will be Go Set a Watchman.

The Christmas Cure (Hallmark)

Steve plays Mitch in The Christmas Cure, where an emergency room doctor returns home for Christmas after many years to find that her father has decided to retire. After reuniting with her high school sweetheart and spending an emotional Christmas with her family, she must decide if she will stay in her hometown and take over her father’s practice. Amish Abduction (Lifetime)

Steve plays a husband who leaves the Amish world to live among “normal Americans,” But things turn even more dire when he returns to seek custody of his son and is willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. The movie was released on November 9, 2019. Check out the preview here.

V Wars

Airing on Nexflix on December 5th, V Wars is an adaptation of Johnathan Mayberry’s V Wars series. It is a drama where an ancient disease has begun turning humans into vampires. Watch the trailer here. Three members of the Shadowhunters cast reunited on V Wars:

Syndey Meyer

Sydney plays Ava O’Malley, a character that was not in either the anthology or graphic novel versions of V Wars but is new for the television show.

Jacky Lai

Jacki joins her Shadowhunters love on Season 1 of Netflix’s V Wars. She plays Kaylee Vo, a struggling, young online journalist who finds herself a key part of the story of a lifetime.

Kimberly-Sue Murray

We don’t know much about Kimberly-Sue’s character, but her character, Danika Dubov, will join Sydney’s and Jacky’s on Netflix on December 5th.

Jacky Lai

In addition to V Wars, Jacky has been working on a new movie.

Fall Back Down

Jacky plays Lizzie in the movie about a depressed ex-activist who takes a job in a sweatshop and makes a grim discovery with his coworker. It premieres on December 5th and is already sold out worldwide. Tickets are still available for the December 6th show.
